This web site is a project of the Office of the Provincial Paediatric Therapy Recruitment and Retention Coordinator, a position funded by the Children and Youth with Special Needs branch of the Ministry of Children and Family Development. The Office of the Provincial Paediatric Therapy Recruitment and Retention Coordinator is directed by a steering committee composed of one representative from the Ministry of Children and Family Development and two therapists in each of the disciplines of Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech -Language Pathology.

The position of the Office of the Provincial Paediatric Therapy Recruitment and Retention Coordinator was created to advise government on strategies to address the issues of recruitment and retention for public sector therapists working with children from birth to age 19. Providing a low-cost and usable employment tool to connect therapists with available jobs was identified as a key starting place to fill vacant positions in the province.
